Lasting connections between spaces, materials, light and everyday life.
Founded in 1996, HOLDING + PARTNERS ASSOCIATES works across residential, public, commercial and hospitality interiors, extending its practice into furniture and product design.
Our work begins with the people who use a space, its site and its cultural context. We balance function and experience, drawing on Eastern ideas of openness and order. Proportion, materials, craft and light come together in places designed for lasting use.
Design philosophyPHILOSOPHY
- Human scale
We begin with daily life, keeping people and the way they use a space at the centre of design.
- Eastern sensibility
Openness, restraint, order and the character of materials become a contemporary spatial language.
- Materials and craft
We value authentic materials, careful detailing and the practical work of bringing a design to life.
- Sustainable thinking
Durability, material choices, life cycles and adaptability guide our approach to long-term value.
